Rebranding Equip for the Complete Hiring Journey

{{info-banner}}

Company profile

Equip is an end-to-end AI hiring platform covering CV screening, skills assessments, AI interviews, and applicant tracking.

The platform gives hiring teams a connected way to evaluate candidates and manage recruitment at scale. But as new capabilities were added, the product grew faster than the story surrounding it.

Equip no longer needed to present a single screening tool. It needed to communicate an entire hiring journey.

The challenge

When our partnership began, Equip had already evolved into a platform supporting the entire hiring journey. The next step was to bring its brand and website in line with that growth.

  • The product had expanded significantly, from CV screening into assessments, AI interviews, and applicant tracking
  • Visitors landed on a site that still read like a single-purpose tool
  • The full range of platform capabilities wasn't clear from the homepage
  • The brand lacked a distinctive identity, easy to confuse with any other HR tool on the market

The challenge was larger than redesigning a homepage. Equip needed to explain a broad hiring platform without overwhelming visitors. At the same time, the brand needed to make AI-powered hiring feel more approachable without losing the credibility expected by hiring teams and enterprise buyers.

The project therefore centered on one question: how could Equip’s brand and website grow into the platform the product had already become?

Solution

Flexy rebuilt Equip’s brand and website around the complete hiring journey.

Instead of presenting a collection of separate tools, the new experience shows how screening, assessments, interviews, and applicant tracking work together as one connected platform. This gives visitors a clearer mental model of the product from the moment they arrive.

Flexy also developed a new visual identity and distinctive mascot to give Equip a warmer, more recognizable presence. The mascot was designed as more than a decorative character. It became a flexible brand asset that could guide attention, support communication, and connect Equip’s digital and physical touchpoints.

The result is a brand that feels more human, a website that makes the full product easier to understand, and a design foundation that can continue to grow with the business.

Research & concept development

Flexy began with product research, competitor analysis, and moodboarding to understand how Equip had evolved, what made the platform different, and what prospective customers needed to understand first.

One strategic shift became central to the project. Instead of organizing the website around individual features, Flexy structured the story around the hiring journey itself. This helped visitors understand not only what each capability does, but also how the different parts work together.

‍

Brand identity & mascot

AI hiring platforms often rely on similar visual language, from abstract gradients and generic technology imagery to familiar automation symbols. Equip needed an identity people could recognize and remember.

Flexy created a distinctive mascot and built a cohesive visual system around it. The aim was not to make serious hiring decisions feel playful, but to give the technology a more approachable and relatable presence.

The identity was designed to remain consistent across the website, campaigns, product communication, event booths, and trade-show materials.

UX/UI & website

Flexy redesigned the website to communicate more without making visitors work harder to understand it.

The homepage introduces Equip as one connected hiring platform. Clear hierarchy, focused messaging, custom visuals, and motion guide visitors through screening, assessments, interviews, and applicant tracking without presenting every capability at the same level.

The design reveals the platform progressively. Visitors can understand the main proposition quickly, then explore the areas most relevant to their hiring needs.

‍

UI kit & design system

The project needed to support Equip beyond the initial launch.

Flexy developed a reusable UI kit and design system covering components, layouts, visual patterns, mascot applications, and motion principles. This gives Equip a consistent foundation for expanding the website and introducing new product capabilities.

Landing pages

Flexy also created a flexible system of marketing landing pages, including dedicated pages for campus hiring.

Instead of designing every campaign from the beginning, Equip’s team can now adapt a shared structure to different audiences, hiring scenarios, and use cases. This makes future campaign launches faster while keeping the brand experience consistent.

‍

Motion & interaction

Custom animations were introduced to explain product capabilities, guide attention, and make the experience feel more dynamic.

Motion was used with a functional purpose. It helps visitors follow the platform story and understand how different stages of the hiring journey connect.

Event branding

The new identity was designed to move beyond digital screens.

Flexy extended the mascot and visual system to trade-show booths and event materials, ensuring that Equip remained recognizable across both detailed product pages and large physical spaces.

This gave the brand a consistent presence from the website to the trade-show floor.

Deliverables

  • Brand identity
  • Mascot
  • Homepage
  • Website UX/UI
  • UI kit
  • Design system
  • Custom animations
  • Marketing landing pages
  • Campus hiring pages
  • Event and trade-show branding

Together, these pieces gave Equip a brand that can move from a product page to a campaign or an event space without losing its identity.

Business value

The new website positions Equip as the platform it has become: an end-to-end AI hiring solution rather than a single-purpose screening tool.

Its broader capabilities are now easier to understand, and the complete hiring journey is clearer from the homepage. The new identity also gives Equip a more distinctive and recognizable presence in a crowded market, while the reusable design system provides a foundation for future campaigns, capabilities, and brand touchpoints.

For Flexy, the most important transformation is already visible. Equip’s product had outgrown the story being told around it. The new brand and website bring the two back into alignment, giving Equip an identity and digital experience designed for its next stage of growth.

" The team was very patient with delivering a website redesign that aligned with our goals. We were happy with the outcome and the project's outcome certainly will help our brand in the long run. Elen and Georgi were very hands on as the Project Managers. Thanks to the founders and all the designers on the team for making this happen. Would recommend without reservations working with Flexy Global for designing websites. "
