Development and Design of a Mobile-First Creative Platform

About ISO Meet
ISO Meet is a mobile-first digital platform created to bring structure to how creative professionals connect and collaborate. Designed for photographers, videographers, models, and other creatives, the product replaces informal Instagram-driven networking with a dedicated, scalable system for finding talent, managing projects, and communicating efficiently.
Flexy Global was responsible for building the platform from the ground up, from architecture and development to product logic and interface design.

The Core Challenge
The client did not have an existing product or technical foundation. The task was to turn an early-stage idea into a fully functioning platform.
Key challenges included:
- Designing a scalable product architecture with no legacy constraints
- Building a mobile-first platform with multiple user types
- Translating informal social behavior (Instagram Stories, DMs) into structured digital processes
- Developing complex features while maintaining a clean, intuitive UX
Project creation also involved conditional logic and location-based constraints, requiring projects to be limited to specific US cities.

Project Overview
We developed the core logic for:
- User accounts and role-based profiles
- Matching and discovery between creatives
- Project and collaboration creation
- Messaging and inbox functionality
- Calendar and availability features
Additionally, we integrated reference image attachments directly into collaboration workflows, making communication clearer and more contextual.

Our Development Lifecycle
Resource planning: We assigned developers based on feature priorities and expertise, making sure the right specialists worked on the right tasks at each stage of the project.
Reporting: Each week, we shared a structured progress report with the client outlining what was completed, what the next priorities were, and which challenges the team resolved during that sprint.
QA: Quality assurance was an ongoing process. We conducted manual testing, created detailed checklists and test cases, and prioritized bugs and blockers based on their impact on the product and development flow.
Regular Sync-ups: To stay aligned, we held daily standups, sprint planning meetings, and regular demo calls with the client.

SDLC
We continuously analyzed the product based on user feedback, implemented necessary design improvements, and reintroduced those updates into the development cycle. This iterative process helped us refine the platform while maintaining stability and forward momentum.
For quality assurance, our team used structured QA checklists and scenario-based testing to validate step-by-step user actions against expected outcomes. Critical user flows, including onboarding, matching, and messaging, were continuously tested and refined as new features were introduced.

Design
Our design deliverables included:
- Definition of user personas for different creative roles
- High-level user flows aligned with development logic
- Mobile-first UI supporting profiles, matches, projects, inbox, and calendar views
- Visual system with creative typography, glass and blur effects, and clear hierarchy
ISO Meet required more than standard feature implementation. We built a structured onboarding flow that includes verification as a core step, helping establish trust between creatives from the very beginning.

UI Kit and Aesthetics
We developed a cohesive UI framework covering profiles, matches, messaging, calendars, and project cards. We also used a dedicated UI kit adapted for colorblind users to ensure accessibility, while maintaining visual consistency and clear interaction patterns across the platform.
The app’s aesthetics align with its purpose and user expectations of a platform that connects creatives, combining a clean, contemporary visual language with subtle expressive details and creative typography.

Scalable MVP
We built ISO Meet as an MVP to launch the core matching, project creation, messaging, and verification flows without overbuilding the infrastructure.
From a technical standpoint, we implemented a backend-as-a-service architecture using Supabase instead of developing a fully custom backend. Supabase handles authentication, database management, and real-time data updates, which allowed us to focus development on product logic and user workflows while keeping the system structured and ready for future feature expansion.

By combining architecture, development, design, and QA into one coordinated process, we delivered a fully functioning digital product built for long-term evolution. ISO Meet now operates on a solid technical foundation, ready for feature expansion, user growth, and future monetization layers.
Throughout the project, the client stayed actively involved through regular demos and sprint reviews, sharing feedback that we incorporated into each development cycle. This close collaboration helped us shape the product in line with the original vision while keeping the architecture stable and scalable. The client especially valued the clear communication, transparent reporting, and the reliability of the platform.
If you’re developing a complex digital product and need a partner who can turn an early-stage idea into a working platform, Flexy Global is ready to help.
